Busy times

Just returned from a hard weekend starting on Thursday where we set up the stand in our jurte  at the Bodgers Ball down near Bristol. Set in the grounds of a beautiful country house ( Tyntesfield ) The Association of Pole lathe Turners and Green Woodworkers annual bash was a great social event and a lovely atmosphere  to meet with old and new fiends do some trade and research new projects. On saturday afternoon I packed up with the help of Bardster (Paul Bradley) in the middle of a thunderstorm to re-locate to The South Downs Green fair at The Sustainability Centre in Hampshire, where Mark was waiting for me to help set up ready for a glorious day on Sunday. Weather was gorgeous and our location opposite the live music and beer tent made for busy but happy times trading all day, plus might have found a brilliant new music act for The Wilderness Gathering.. Packed up and home by nine o'clock in the rented transit. Must replace the Landrover soon as the rented van just doesn't feel right..
