A Custom Collaboration is when a custom maker such as myself works with a factory or major knife producer to offer knife designed by said maker but made in a factory to bulk but high standards and offered at a less expensive price than the individually hand made item.
I have been working on a few projects for the last two years with David at Casstrom Knives from Sweden. We now have the first production run available of The Woodsman Knife. The Woodsman is one of my most popular designs and always have a long list of customers waiting for them. Casstrom have faithfully reproduced the knife in K720 high carbon steel offering models in both curly birch and ancient bog oak handles. there is also an option to have a matching fire steel fitted to the scabbard.
I will have some in stock to sell from here early next week with all models available apart from the matching bog oak fire steels.
