A take on my Journeyman pattern in AEB-l stainless steel.
This is a traditional stainless developed for hard use and has steed the test of time in industrial applications. This particular knife sports a blade from 3mm stock at 101mm length. It has a 27 degree scandi zero grind edge and is of full tang construction.
Hardness is 59hrc.
Handle scales are spalted flame maple that has been stabilsed and they in turn are laid over forest green fibre liners and held in situ by eight stainless pins and thong tube.
Over all length of the knife is 223mm and all is presented in a deep carry right hand belt carry sheath of premium grade oak bark tanned leather that has been wet frmed and oiled.
