We have created The Jackpine shirt range to make available our short runs of shirts made in one off fabrics. We buy in yarn and cloth from other UK mills and wool producers with the aim of reducing waste and producing exclusive quality natural fibre shirts and clothing.
The shirt layout is similar to our Forester shirt with and open front with button closure and two chest pockets. The difference being with The Jackpine we have added a traditional collar and you may notice on some shirts that the pockets and shoulder yoke are cut on the bias ( diagonally). This is so we can get the most out fo these short lengths of fabric.
We currently have two styles available.
Please note that these shirts are made in short runs and are in stock, subsequently we cannot make custom alterations to them.
Teal and Navy check. This is made from an old batch of Harris tweed wool woven to our pattern in our mill. Although the same weight as used in our Guide and Forester shirts, it feels slightly more coarse and gives a heavier feel.
Red and Black. This is or normal soft wool as used in the Guide and Foresters in a striking and traditional woodsman's pattern.
