Occasionally I make a knife that is hard to part with, this is one of those. The Rose pattern Damasteel with its small pattern matrix lends itself to this size of knife, generally known as neckers due to the convenient method of carry on a lanyard around your neck. It has my signature handle design of stabilised Elm Burr with Antler bolsters all located with eight nickel silver pins. The Elm is laid over red ochre fibre liners. The 76 x 4mm blade carries a zero scandi grind of 27degrees and is hardened to 61 hrc . The overall shape is that of my original bushcraft knife but scaled down to make this stunning looking necker.
Scabbard is Oak Bark Tanned, wet formed and oiled neck or pocket carry.
