One of my Woodie pattern knives from a unique piece of 4mm ladder pattern Damasteel hardened to 60hrc. Some striking highlights showing in the pattern of the steel. With a 27 degree Scandi Grind this blade of 11cm is up to all tasks. The handle scales are stabilised English Applewood over black fibre liners. The bolsters are Stag Antler with some bark showing, particularly well where the wood grain and bark seem to form a continuous line from scales to bolsters. Furniture is brass and the leather lanyard set off by an antler toggle. Scabbard is a deep pouch Oak Bark tanned and oiled belt carry. This naturally tanned leather shows marks from the cow's life as well as being very, very tough.
