Gyuto Kitchen knife rainbow damascus

This handsome kitchen knife comes out of The Bison Bushcraft workshops and is handmade by my Son. The blade is in rainbow pattern San Mai steel with a high carbon steel core and features a hand ground full flat grind blade of 150mm. The handle is stabilised birch and rosewood and is fitted in a traditional Japanese style with hardwood wedges. 
The colours highlighted in the blade show the laminated layers of nickel, wrought iron, brass and copper all surrounding the high carbon steel blade core.
