Our leather tankards are individually handmade to a traditional pattern as found on the Mary Rose by Paul Bradley (known to many as Bardster). After sewing to completion with waxed linen thread each tankard is completely immersed in melted beeswax to seal the seams and coat the leather inside and out. The leather used is traditional veg tanned cowhide of approximately 1/8" thick. You can order these in plain natural brown or you could have them embossed/carved with a design of your choice. Speak to us to discuss designs if you wish. Each tankard is individually handmade to order and can take up to a month to complete. If you would like us to make you one with a specific design or name embossed on it please contact us here . Embossing adds to the cost and varies accordingly.
