Here you can see Dave, the 2018 face of Bison Bushcraft modelling our latest hand made product. We have taken inspiration from a (sadly) discontinued Barbour jacket called The Longshoreman. The shell is of British Millerain 350gsm sandy/brown coloured wax cotton and the lining a fine woven soft wool. There are twin side zips to make it easier to get on and off. The smock style jacket is packed full of features such as adjustable cuffs and hood, a neck gusset to keep the wind out, an external hanging tag to aid drying, a soft wool lined collar should you not choose to use the hood, twin cargo pockets on the chest ( both right and left handed) and hand warmer pockets behind the lower dump pockets, with envelope fold over closure on the lower pockets. Being traditional wax fabric this garment can be re-proofed and repaired so should last a lifetime. This smock is just like all of our clothing in that it is made to order and can take two to eight weeks to assemble.
Each Smock comes with a free tin of British Millerain Proofing Wax
NB. We cannot make custom alterations to these smocks.
