Just returned from a hard weekend starting on Thursday where we set up the stand in our jurte at the Bodgers Ball down near Bristol. Set in the grounds of a beautiful country house ( Tyntesfield ) The Association of Pole lathe Turners and Green Woodworkers annual bash was a great social event and a lovely atmosphere to meet with old and new fiends do some trade and research new projects. On saturday afternoon I packed up with the help of Bardster (Paul Bradley) in the middle of a thunderstorm to re-locate to The South Downs Green fair at The Sustainability Centre in Hampshire, where Mark was waiting for me to help set up ready for a glorious day on...
